THE DELIVER STAGE
Students return to convergent thinking when reflecting critically on their design ideas. They use design criteria determined in the brief, together with feedback, to select and refine those with the most potential, creating design concepts for further testing, iteration and evaluation. Students combine methods, media and materials with selected design elements and principles in order to resolve final features and details. Students choose appropriate formats to communicate and present finished design solutions for client approval and the processes of production or implementation for client approval.
DETAILS
You will need to show evidence of a multitude of convergent processes to show refinement during the deliver stage, this will involve things such as idea evaluation pages, considering things like SWOT and PMI analyses, mindmaps, refined sketches of design ideas, documentation pages of the production of the design solution, a series of design pitch pages, which will be presented to your peers.
BACKGROUND
The deliver stage is where students need to work on the final refinements of the design, seeking feedback and critically evaluating their design concepts to ensure that the design solution is fully resolved (every aspect of the design has been considered and addresses the needs of the brief in full).
